Our products
Thank you for being mindful when using your cosmetics and personal care products! We do strive to source organic ingredients whenever possible, but while we can say they're 100% natural and toxin-free, we can't guarantee they're 100% organic.
Yes, we can guarantee that our ingredients come from local and foreign suppliers, using sustainable and environmentally friendly crops and/or practices, always prioritizing local sources.
Yes, we definitely do not experiment on animals.
Most of our products are vegan, with the exception of a few that contain whole cow's milk, beeswax, and honey, all locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. Those that are vegan are labeled. We encourage you to check the ingredient list for details, as this is the case.
We recommend keeping them in a cool, well-ventilated place away from sunlight.
Our production line is made in small batches, and we are constantly manufacturing to keep our inventory fresh and stocked, ensuring you the best quality, whether you purchase directly from us on our website or at one of our partner stores.
All of our products are marked with an expiration date, and we recommend using them as soon as you purchase them to ensure their potency and effectiveness.
Except for our Milk Oatmeal Honey Soap, the others are, but we recommend always checking the full list of ingredients before making your purchase, so you can feel safe and at ease.
Yes, we even have two products designed to help you during this special stage: MAMÁ Oil and Shea + Calendula Body Cream, which help maintain skin elasticity and prevent stretch marks. However, each person is different, so we recommend reading the full list of ingredients before using them. If you have any questions, it's always best to consult your doctor.
Yes, all soaps are recyclable, and there are collection points from various recycling organizations across the country that accept them. Some of our products, due to their nature and intended use, come in PET containers, while others come in glass. We also use recycled paper to package our soaps, and our product labels are printed with eco-friendly inks.
Our products and your skin
It's a soap made with natural ingredients whose emollient, moisturizing, and in some cases healing properties help maintain smooth, healthy skin by nourishing it and preserving its natural moisture. Our soaps are handcrafted using the "cold process," a traditional method that preserves all the original properties of the natural oils used in their preparation.
All are made by combining extra virgin olive oil, high in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant; palm oil, imported from Barú, which provides stability and firmness in our warm and humid climate; coconut oil, an emollient that produces a delicious lather; and castor oil, rich in fatty acids and highly moisturizing.
Yes, we use palm oil from local, sustainable crops, from former banana plantations in the Barú region of Chiriquí province, which have migrated to palm cultivation.
Remember that exfoliants are meant to remove the dead skin we constantly shed, but they're not soap. Therefore, we recommend bathing and/or washing the area where you'll be using it before applying it, so that your skin is clean of impurities. Once you've rinsed, apply it to damp skin using gentle circular motions to remove dead cells and let it sit on your body for a few minutes. Then rinse with cold or warm water, never hot, so that your new skin absorbs the oil and is completely moisturized and silky smooth.
This may depend on the area of the body you're exfoliating. If it's rough areas that get very dry from exposure to the sun and/or air conditioning, such as your feet, heels, knees, and elbows, exfoliate at least twice a week. For the rest of your body, we recommend exfoliating at most once a week, and if you have sensitive skin, every two weeks should work for you.
Both options nourish and moisturize your skin. Choosing one or the other depends on which you prefer. Some people combine them, using oil in the morning because it's easier and lighter to apply, and cream at night, before bed, for more intense hydration.
Our body oils are 100% plant-based, so they absorb completely and quickly, leaving no residue that could stain your clothes. We recommend applying them with a gentle massage on damp skin (ideal after bathing), as the water helps distribute the oil easily and evenly. They also leave a satiny glow on your skin—very sexy!
Creams, on the other hand, are ideal for very dry and cracked skin, as they nourish your entire body more deeply, especially problem areas like elbows, knees, and heels. We recommend applying them daily with a relaxing massage for greater penetration.
Our products and your skin
It's a basic routine that allows you to keep your skin really clean, toned, and moisturized.
- Start with a two-step cleansing routine—a double cleanse—where you first remove makeup and environmental residue with Enzymatic Oil, then deeply cleanse your skin with the Bio Enzymatic Gel or Facial Soap of your choice. You can also combine the Clarifying Facial Scrub with this routine for regular cell renewal and oil and breakout control.
- We continue with the Facial Water, Rose of Jamaica, for all skin types, which tones, hydrates and helps tighten pores, preparing your face for the Hydrating Repair Serum, with a light, fast-absorbing texture that restores and retains moisture in your skin.
- Finally, apply 3-4 drops of the Repairing Oil, which seals in moisture while nourishing and moisturizing your skin, giving it radiance and softening fine lines.
Dehydration can affect any skin type, not just dry skin. It occurs when the skin loses its ability to retain moisture, a situation that is different from its ability to produce sebum/oil. It tends to be more common in very dry climates, if you spend a lot of time indoors with air conditioning, and if you also don't drink enough water, don't eat a balanced diet, and/or suffer from lack of sleep and stress. The end result is the same: a dull, rough, and lifeless complexion.
To keep your skin always fresh, hydrated and toned, we recommend using our Jamaican Rose Facial Water, followed by the Hydrating Repair Serum, after deeply cleansing your face.
It basically consists of a first step where you remove sunscreen, makeup, and/or residue from environmental pollution that accumulates on your face throughout the day, followed by a real, deep cleansing of your face.
To start, we recommend applying Enzymatic Oil with a gentle massage to dissolve dirt deposited from the environment, as well as all facial makeup, including mascara and eye shadow, and any remaining sunscreen you may have used.
As a second step, wash your face with the Bio Enzymatic Gel or Facial Soap of your choice to remove any remaining residue, leaving your skin immaculate.
For facial cleansing, we recommend the Enzymatic Oil, Bio-Enzymatic Gel, and Pink Clay and Shea Butter Soap, ideal for sensitive skin. Even if you have combination skin (normal/oily or dry/oily), your sensitive skin is still prevalent, and harsher products could damage it. For the body, we recommend the Baby soaps with Calendula and Chamomile extract, the Avocado with Rosemary soap, and the Papaya with Honey soap, all of which are super gentle and offer anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties for delicate and sensitive skin.
All of them!! The Repairing Oil combines the benefits of 10 precious virgin oils loaded with retinol, Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, Vitamins A, E, and an additional Vitamin C, which nourish, revitalize, and brighten your face. It's ideal to use alone or combined with your regular moisturizer, at night as the last step of your routine, and in the morning before applying makeup.
Depending on your skin type, we recommend it for the most fragile and sensitive areas such as the eyes, expression lines, décolletage, and neck, but you can also apply a couple of drops to your entire face, especially the drier areas.
If you feel your skin is normal and/or oily, you can mix a couple of drops with your regular moisturizer in the palm of your hand before applying it to reap all its benefits without saturating your skin.
